Notes/Domino/Domino Designer R5.0.4a fix list (final)

This notice is to inform you that there is a Quarterly Maintenance Update (QMU) to R5.0.4. The QMU is called R5.0.4a and contains 12 fixes. The Fix List for R5.0.4a is below and it can be freely distributed. This QMU is applicable to all platforms for the R5 client and server.

Please note that due to the close proximity in schedules to Release 5.0.5, we will not be producing CD-ROMs for 5.0.4a. Passport Advantage Subscription customers and Business Partners are reminded that they can download full kits of Release 5.0.4a electronically from their respective fulfillment sites on the Web.

Notes:
1. There are no new features in R5.0.4a.

2. There are 3 fixes below with a plus symbol "+" before the SPR number. This is to indicate fixes for regression bugs. A regression bug is a bug which was introduced in a QMR or QMU and did not exist in previous releases of that code stream. For example, a bug that appears in R5.0.4 but did not exist in R5.0.3 is a regression.

Calendar & Scheduling

+SPR# COSK4LNLHE - Fixes errors that happen when opening an R5.0.4 mail file from 4.x clients. This is a regression that appeared in R5.0.4.

SPR# GBAS4A2UAN - Fixes a problem that causes a "decline" to be sent if a canceled or expired meeting was deleted from the Calendar view.

SPR# EPOD4FRTLR, ICOR4LFT7K - Scheduling a meeting using R4.6x, then upgrading to R5, and then changing the time of the meeting now correctly updates both the StartTime and EndTime of the meeting. Previously, the StartDate field was correct but the EndDate field was not.

Client

+SPR# VDSE4F9SFQ - Fixes a workstation crash when copying in a nested table to the clipboard. This is a regression from R5.0.3.

Networking & Dialup

SPR# EBEL4M7P5T - Fixes a Solaris-only limitation that was seen if more than 16,384 Notes sessions across all partitions access the server(s) concurrently. Previously, when the limit was reached, all partitions on that machine would crash.

Security

SPR# NDUZ4KTTHW - Fixes "Error updating local ID file: Internal Error: a required parameter in a subroutine call has not been supplied" problem when a person who has been recertified authenticates with a server.

Security - S/MIME

SPR# DBAR4LHRSC - Fixes a problem that allowed S/MIME to encrypt messages that International recipients using R5.0.3 or earlier could not decrypt. They would get the error "Attempted encryption operation is not supported by this version of Notes."

Server

SPR# PMGL4LHPWZ - Fixes a memory leak with the Domain Indexer.

Server - Agent Manager

+SPR# MCOO4LHQEK - Fixes an Agent Manager crash that could happen when an agent marks documents as read. This is a regression from R5.0.4.

Web Navigator

SPR# CSMH4LFKN3 - Fixes an "OLE Automation object" error when window.close() is called.

Web Server

SPR# MSAN4L3RJ7 - Fixes an AIX-only memory leak that would occur during HTTP server image conversion.
